Leavitt Capital Companies is a commercial real estate development and investment firm founded in 1979 by Seattle entrepreneur Tom Leavitt. The firm focuses on high quality commercial properties in the many communities in which it is active.

The firm has developed a reputation of being imaginative and creative in its use of property and successful ventures. Historically Leavitt Capital's geographic focus has been the West Coast and the Southwest of the US. Several of the firm’s projects have become industry award winners.

Two unique joint ventures highlight recent company activities. President Aaron Lake heads up the company’s venture known as AT Industrial. Together with a long-time partner, the company is developing industrial projects throughout the West. In its well established joint venture relationship with The Wolff Company of Scottsdale, Arizona, Leavitt is responsible for the commercial and retail portions of all Wolff apartment communities throughout the country.

Tom Leavitt, Chief Executive Officer

Thomas E. Leavitt founded the company in 1979. He holds a law degree from the Seattle University School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound. Before attending law school, and following a few years of private law practice, he left to devote his energies to his entrepreneurial ventures. Read more

Gunbarrel Center is an infill multi-family and commercial community located in northeast Boulder Colorado. Leavitt Capital was responsible for the pedestrian oriented “Main Street” shopping amongst the 250 apartment units, with small local restaurants and shops.
800 J Lofts, Sacramento
800 J Lofts is two blocks from the new Sacramento Entertainment and Sports Center. Twenty thousand square feet of retail includes restaurants and financial services companies, 225 apartment units and a parking garage.
Spinnaker Portfolio, Connecticut
Spinnaker Portfolio consists of 47,000 square feet of retail woven into an apartment community in this little Connecticut village containing nearly 400 apartment units.
